Validex Intel

Built by Manufacturers, for Manufacturers.

Manufacturing runs on relationships that hold up under pressure. Validex Intel exists because finding and maintaining those relationships had become the hardest part of the work.

What We Saw

Validex Intel was founded by manufacturers, and the problem found us before we went looking for it. Whenever we needed a reliable vendor, we had two choices: the word of mouth this industry has run on for generations, or the directories and automated services that were supposed to replace it. The first had stopped keeping pace. The second gave us either chaos with no human in the middle, or delays behind middleman gatekeepers. Either way, we were spending more time connecting dots than getting work done.

From the shop floor, we saw the other side of the same problem. Vendors too often lean on one or two key customers and carry that exposure as a liability, and for small and mid-size contract manufacturers it can be devastating. Buyers leave for greener pastures, find they were not, and rather than go back to a soured relationship, start shopping all over again. Change is hard in this industry, in production and in operational decisions alike, which is why new relationships are worth building carefully and existing ones are worth keeping. Whether you are starting a new product line or reworking your sourcing funnel, finding a vendor is a decision you want to get right the first time.

So we built a private network. The human-to-human principles manufacturing has always relied on stay at the center, with technology leveraged to streamline the execution. When we contact a vendor with an opportunity, we want them to know it is worth their time. When we bring a vendor to a buyer for a job, we want the buyer to know it is one they can rely on.

What We Believe

If It Is Worth Doing, It Is Worth Doing Right
No half measures. We stand by our commitments and expect the same from the people we do business with, because our credibility is only ever as strong as our vendors and buyers.
You Hear the Truth
When a vendor loses an opportunity, we say why, whether it was a capability shortcoming or a competitive disadvantage due to pricing or certifications. When we cannot find a buyer a fit, we say that too. When we do not know, we say so and go find out. The only way Validex Intel succeeds is if our vendors succeed, which leaves no room for anything but the truth.
Nobody Is Left Hanging
If an expectation has been set, we meet it, and if we fall short, we expect to be held accountable. Any no call/no show is unacceptable, and we expect our network to value the same.
Private, by Design
Open networks are riddled with incomplete data and carry no accountability. Keeping ours private keeps everyone in it engaged and reliable, and lets us give each requirement the catered solution and attention to detail we take pride in.
You Always Know What Has Been Verified
Every vendor we bring forward comes with a plain account of what has and has not been checked. Validex Vetted means it has been. Indexed means not yet, and we say so.

Where We Are Going

We intend to grow substantially, but not faster than vetting allows. The network expands at the pace of vendors who can earn the designation, because a network that grows any other way stops being worth anything. As it grows, so does what we can take on. Prime–sub work scales with the network’s reliability and reputation, and as buyers come to rely on it, we expect to be recognized as a key contributor to the manufacturing industry as a whole.

Next is sourcing materials and supplies alongside manufacturing, so a buyer who trusts us for one can trust us for the other. The goal is simple to state: drop a pin anywhere on the US map and have a vetted network ready to activate. When that is true across the country, international work is the horizon after it.

Growing With You

We are new, and we are not hiding it. We are here to grow with our vendors, and that means playing the long game: relationships where both sides win, built to last longer than the first job.

After the first year, we want a vendor to say the opportunities were real and worth the time. After that first job, we want a buyer to say the experience was refreshing, because the execution was streamlined and the vendor met deadlines, quality, and financial expectations.
